Ananda Soul - Adopt a Balinese Family Campaign
Today I want to shine a light on one of our treasured brands, Ananda Soul and their Adopt a Balinese Family initiative.
Ananda Soul is such a beautiful brand who's core values align so closely with our own. Not only do they create stunning, intentional jewellery in an ethical way, from recycled, sustainable and low-impact materials, the love and genuine care they show for their staff and community is so beautiful and so inspiring, we wanted to show our support.
With the impact of COVID-19 taking its toll on communities in Bali, Ananda soul has stepped up and created the Adopt a Balinese family Campaign.
Unfortunately, Bali has been hit hard by the ripple- effects of COVID-19 as its economy almost exclusively depends on tourism.
As the weeks go on and the streets of Bali stay empty, many people have lost their jobs and many locals are starting to struggle to feed their families.
In order to alleviate the situation, Ananda Soul are collecting donations to take care of the wellbeing of families in Bali.
They are allocating their team's working hours to prepare as many care packages as possible (contents listed below) to feed a family of 2 adults and 2 children.
The Ananda Soul team will use 100% of your donations to buy the contents of the care packages and distribute them amongst the families in their villages who are most in need.
It only takes USD$60 to feed a family for a month, and you can donate as little as USD$15 to feed a family for a week, anything helps.
